Pune Police Commissionerate Map

Help

We have used google map's javascript api for the Pune police commissionerate map. We have shown all the locations and borders using the longitudes and latitudes taken according to google map. There is a facility to get the route to specific destination from any point on the map. We have used google map’s direction to retrieve and draw the route.

Facilities in the map

1. User can move to location of any office, police station or police chowky by just choosing the option from the combobox in the right panel. Map sets that location to the center.

2. User can see the police station's jurisdiction in which current location of the user lies. We also have provided the information of nearest police chowky from the current location of the user in that particular jurisdiction.

3. User can get quick information of any office, police station or police chowky by clicking the icon. Information available is name and photo of the officer in charge and contact no. of that particular office.

4. To get route to any police station, police chowky or any office, just click on the given button first. And then click your location on the map. If user wants to get the route to any office, then first choose the office from combobox and then click on the button, get path for office.

5. User can get current jurisdiction and nearest police chowky by just moving the mouse on the map.
